Community guidelines

Snouthub is a place for dogs and the people who love them. Keep it kind, safe and useful.

Nose prints and privacy

Only enroll a dog you own or have permission to enroll. Nose prints are biometric data: don't upload someone else's dog's nose print, and don't use the registry to track or expose a person. Lost-dog search is for reunification, not surveillance.

Reporting and blocking

Use the Report flag on a post, comment, dog profile or chat message, or choose Report or block on a profile. Blocking hides that person's content from your feed, profile and chats. Reports are reviewed manually during the beta.

What happens after a report

  1. We review the report and the surrounding content.
  2. We may remove content, warn the account, limit features or suspend the account.
  3. We may keep a record for safety and legal reasons; see the Privacy Notice.
  4. You can ask for a review by emailing support@snouthub.io.
Urgent safetyIf a dog or person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a vet. Snouthub is not an emergency service.

Age

Snouthub is for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
